Construction Phases

Pre-Construction Segment
A&A Caribbean Construction (A&A) actively seeks to involve you, our client, in all aspects of this all important phase of your project. By pre-construction, we mean the necessary base work that is often ignored or hastily done by other builders which is inevitably consequential. Prior to the completion of drawings and contract documents, your project is planned as closely to pefection as is humanly possible. Considering that there may be alterations, obstacles, or disagreements this process seeks to moderate any negative outcomes. This also gives you the option to be away from the project and remain confident that decisions, which ordinarily only you can make, will be made by us, to your liking.

Dare to dream...?
After all has been accomplished in the pre-construction segment, and having fully understood what it is that clients want, i.e. specific windows, flooring, laundry chute etc, A&A seeks to execute tangible drafts of your DREAM PROJECT onto paper. This would be our reality checkpoint, where our preparatory team, ranging from architect to engineer, maps out viable solutions to meet each clients' specific demands. In some cases, drawings may have already been done, at which point A&A seeks to underline your priorities to determine building compatibility. Upon highlighting estimates, money saving concepts, scheduling implications etc, you will realize all options available to you; hence completely informed as to what solutions will work to make your dream a reality.

Draft Phase
Now we know what you want, A&A will the first draft for your project. These documents highlight the costs involved along with projected timeline. If necessary, these documents may be used to assist in acquiring loans to meet your financial needs in tandem with the conceptual structure. Plans are carefully examined to ensure that once a project begins, it will be carried through with efficiency to completion, and comfortably within your budget. At this time the project schedule is also reviewed. You will also receive a Pre-Contract Document, plainly stating:

• Project objectives
• Structural Budget (variance) - this is done to compensate for economic instability
• Financial documentation with mention to immediate documentation including Drawings, Specifications, Budget, and Schedule
• Timelines - including specific items that you will be responsible for i.e. (finishings)

Contract Phase
Final documents are composed and presented to you for acceptance and signing. Included within is the agreed projected schedule which will state what is required of you and when (Dates may be modified).

Your Work is just about over
We now say, kick back and relax considering that you're in good hands and knowing that in a few months you will be handed your keys to a home that you created simply by sharing your imaginations with us. With a clearly organized and methodical mapping of what will now be executed by A&A, work begins with all involved fully aware of their tasks and time constraints, thus eliminating any hiccups in the construction phase.

Despite our all-out effort to efficiently progress with structural developments, we are convinced that there will always be challenges which may require that we react intuitively, even modifying smaller sections of the plan. This we will do, unless prompted otherwise. However, there may be times when your input may be required, which of course can be done from a distance if there's the need.
